READY – SET – GO

AAC Art Critique
Moderated by
Marcia Rickard and Joyce Wilson

WHEN: Sunday, March 29, 2026, 1 pm – 4 pm. Social time with drinks and light refreshments during and after the critique

CREATE:  Per membership request, there is no theme.  Bring something new you are working on, or an idea you were enamored with but hit a speed bump and set aside.  Time to rethink and get some input!  If you had art ready for the cancelled Entangled theme, bring this to share along with your new work.  For those new to the AAC Critiques, you are welcome to show any style or interpretation of art: representational, contemporary, abstract, and any medium: painting, printmaking, collage, assemblage, photography, and sculpture. It is not necessary to bring the art framed, but if on paper, please clip or tape it to a mat or board.  The Critique is open to all interpretations; however, work must be abstract when submitted to AAC juried exhibitions.

FORMAT: Your art piece will be displayed on an easel, and Marcia and Joyce will lead the discussion and collect comments from members. Each participating member will have approximately 5 minutes for presentation and discussion.

TO REGISTER: Email Joyce Wilson – jw@joycewilson.com by Saturday, 5pm, March 28. It is not necessary to email photographs of your work. Register your name so we have an outline and numbers for setup. If you wish to join the party as an observer or bring a guest, send an email with names and requests to be included.
